This is without doubt the most important part of your profile and we cannot stress enough how much time and thought you should give this section initially, and on an ongoing basis in order to be found by potential dates with something in common with you.

Keywords are any common generic and unique relevant words that depict your lifestyle. For example, say you live in Acacia Drive in Hampstead, London and work in Holborn for XYZ Consultants as an architect, go to a gym called Phwoar Bodies, shop at Brown’s in Highbury, travel on a number 47 bus, socialise at the Blue Pig pub and ride a horse etc you would put in your keywords box the following: Acacia Drive, Hampstead, London, Holborn, XYZ Consultants, Architect, Phwoar Bodies Brown’s, Highbury, 47, Blue Pig, horse, horse riding, equestrian, riding. You would also enter your private vehicle registration number in the box provided, which is again totally unique to you, i.e., AB01 ABC You might also consider entering your profession or occupation as this may even find you work. You can especially enter common generic words that describe your sports, hobbies and pastimes, even your favourite band or group, to help you find someone who is interested in the same things as you. You have a burst pipe. Again type your town or county and plumber, i.e. Plymouth, plumber and you will not only find a tradesman to sort your pipes but he will be single too…….bonus!

An admirer that spots you at any of these locations, or in your car can type in ‘any’ of the same obvious keywords as you, i.e., an address where they saw you, and you will appear on a short list of registered members. The more relevant and matching keywords you both use the more targeted the search will be. For instance if they typed Hampstead, Phwoar Bodies they would see a list of all the other single members that go to that gym. All that is required then is for your admirer to identify you and mail you to let you know that someone fancies you…….its as simple as that!

If you swap flirty glances while out and about and didn’t follow it up you would simply both add to your keywords in your profile (you can add and subtract keywords at any time). For example if you saw someone you want to contact in Lansdown Road, Copthorne on 31st March 2006, you would go back to your computer and add to your keywords, Lansdown Road, Copthorne, 310306 or 31st March 2006

Regarding future events; Imagine you are due to go to, say for instance, the Reading Festival in August 2006. You would add to your keywords, (which you can do freely at any time during your membership) Reading Festival 2006 and hey presto you will be presented with a list of members within your search criteria that are also going to the festival. Think of the fun you can have with holiday destinations etc by simply adding your trip details and dates to your keywords!

The system is so clever that if you are into firemen and live in the West Midlands you can simply type fireman, firefighter, west midlands and you will be able to contact all the registered firefighters in the west midlands.

There is no reason why you cant add your actual name If you have been in a situation where an admirer knows your name they will be able to use this as a keyword too. If you even want to marry someone with a certain surname you can do a search on that too! There is no reason why you can’t add your nicknames and pseudonyms etc as these will never be visible to other members.
